Author Self-Archiving Policy
Author Self-Archiving Policy:
Ibn Sina University Journal encourages authors to self-archive their articles to foster knowledge sharing and maximize research impact. Our policy regarding the archiving of various versions of a manuscript is detailed as follows:
-
Pre-print Version (Submitted Manuscript): Authors are permitted to share and archive the initial version of their manuscript prior to peer review (Pre-print) on personal websites or institutional repositories. Authors should explicitly state that the manuscript "has been submitted for publication to Ibn Sina University Journal".
-
Post-print Version (Accepted Manuscript): Authors are allowed to archive the peer-reviewed and accepted version of their manuscript (Post-print) before final layout and typesetting by the journal. Upon acceptance, authors are requested to update the archiving record to state that the article is "Accepted for publication in Ibn Sina University Journal".
-
Published Version (Version of Record / Publisher's PDF): Authors are fully permitted and strongly encouraged to self-archive the final, published version (Publisher's PDF) immediately upon its online release. When archiving this version, a direct link to the article's official landing page on the journal's website or its persistent identifier must be included to ensure proper academic citation and tracking.
