Peer-Review Policy

Peer-Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Ibn Sina University Journal (ISUJ) undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the integrity, quality, and rigor of published research.

Review Procedure

  1. Reviewer Assignment: Each manuscript is evaluated by two qualified experts in the relevant subject area.

  2. Reviewer Reports: The reports and recommendations of all reviewers are considered in deciding whether to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.

  3. Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision, taking into account the reviewers’ comments.

  4. Advisory Input: If needed, the Editor-in-Chief may consult one or more members of the advisory board for guidance before reaching a final decision.

  5. Administrative Support: Associate editors and review editors provide administrative assistance to ensure the integrity and smooth functioning of the peer-review process.

  6. Appeals Process: If authors contest a negative decision with valid arguments, the manuscript may be sent to an additional reviewer, and the final decision will be based on the new reviewer’s recommendations.
