Publication Guidelines

The Ibn Sina University Journal is a biannual, peer-reviewed scientific journal that addresses political and economic issues. Published by the university, this journal reflects its commitment to serving the community and contributing to the development of scientific research and higher education in Libya by publishing distinguished and rigorous studies based on precise scientific standards.

Submission Requirements

  • Eligibility: The journal welcomes contributions from academics and researchers specializing in political, economic, and social fields.

  • Language: The journal accepts research papers and studies in both Arabic and English.

  • Originality: The work must be original, innovative, and objective. It should not have been previously published, either fully or in part, in print or online. It must also not be under consideration for publication by any other outlet at the same time.

  • Author Information: All submissions must include the author's name, workplace, academic level, and email address.

  • Methodology: The research must follow a strict scientific methodology and adhere to the academic standards for writing, including proper citation of sources and references according to the established scientific documentation style used in peer-reviewed publications.

  • Relevance: The submitted material must fall within the scope of the journal's interests and provide an original scientific contribution to the field of study.

Review and Formatting

  • Peer Review: All submissions undergo review and critique by two peer reviewers. The editorial board may request necessary amendments be made within a specified timeframe before approving the work for publication.

  • Page Limit: The research paper should not exceed 24 printed pages, including appendices.

  • Submission Format:

    • Submissions must be provided in three written copies along with an electronic copy on a CD.

    • The font size should be 12, using the Simplified Arabic font.

    • The document must be created in Microsoft Word on a page size of 17 cm wide by 24 cm high.
